*Each team is required to provide a Volunteer Marshal, who is a responsible person aged 16 or above, to serve on race day. Please create a Racematix account using the Volunteer Marshals’ details to register a team.

Please note the following details about the race:
- Race Date and Time: 7:00am, November 30th, 2025 @ DB South Plaza Pier.
- Age groups: Juniors – U9, U10, U11; Intermediates – U12, U13, U16 and U18
- Age Limit: We require racers to be 8 years old; however, we will accept 7 year old racers at our discretion, provided they are sufficiently fit and prepared.
- Bikes: No bike course or bike check this year.
- Teams: All teams will be teams of 2.
- Mandatory Marshal: Each team must supply 1 person to assist us as a volunteer marshal for the race day. This could be a parent, helper, older friend or sibling (aged 16+). This requires no previous experience, just a commitment to help us ensure the safety of all our racers.
- Registration and Ticketing: Registration is done through Race Matix, register here.
Other factors remain the same, such as our committee being a wholly voluntary organisation, and we donate all surpluses from the race to our partner charity, Youth Outreach www.yo.org.hk.
Note: If the race is not able to be held as scheduled on November 30th. The backup race date is December 14th 2025.
Race Safety
This race is designed as a challenging sporting event. As such, racers must adhere to all the instructions issued to them by race marshals on the course. All racers / parents / guardians must also agree to a waiver of liability.
Race Equipment Requirements
Racers must wear a bike helmet or equivalent head protection and gloves at all times. Racers must also carry sufficient water for their use.
We also recommend the following:
- Small backpack
- Suncream
- Water bottle or water bladder system
- An after-race bag containing a towel, clean change of clothes and footwear.
- Bags of enthusiasm
Race Day Timing
7:00 am to 8:00 am: Registration @ DB South Plaza Pier
Team Fear registration teams will:
- Check that racers have helmets and gloves.
- Issue race shirts and team numbers
- Verify waiver consent forms
- Racers who do not have a completed waiver will not be allowed to race!
- Take the after-race bags for storage until races are completed
Note: Teams registering after 8 am may be unable to participate in the race!
8:30 am to 9:00 am: Race starts
1:00 pm: All racing concluded
1.30 pm: Awards will be presented for the fastest teams and runners-up per category. (boys teams, girls teams, mixed teams per age category)
The course route is kept confidential until the day of the race.
On the day, racers will follow coloured ribbons to navigate and complete the course.

Getting to DB South Plaza:
- The first ferry from Central Pier 3 is at 6.30 am.
- MTR to Sunny Bay, then catch the DB03R and get off at the final stop.
- A red Taxi can take you all the way to DB North. Then you can take the 4A or 9A to the South Plaza.
